I woke up and read my Bible. Then, I scrolled through Pinterest for a while. After that, I watched 7th Heaven and working on The Mask; Her Aid.
In 7th Heaven, Lucy decided she wants to volunteer with Habitat for Humanity. I realized, that I would like to do that too. So, I went to their website and found that they are hiring. I was simply going to volunteer, but then I applied to be a part-time grant writer. I don’t know exactly what the job entails, but it doesn’t require any experience I don’t have, so I applied. Maybe, this is where I can work and help people? It only calls for 27 hours a week, so that’s cool! I think I’ll also apply to be a part-time cashier at Habitat Home Center. It’s not the one by the San Antonio event center, and it’s half an hour from where I live, but it’s also a 27-hour job and it pays $13 an hour. Who knows if I’ll get or like either job, but it feels good to want to do something. I hope to at least look into volunteering with them on building houses. We did it for youth group once and I absolutely LOVED it! I’ve always loved working with wood and doing manual labor. I may not be able to do as much after hurting my back, but if that’s true, I’m sure I can do something. It’s up to the Lord now.
